Over the millennia, many gods have trespassed on Surtr’s territory, either in the course of a quest or simply because they desire a challenge. Carrying his bright sword, he will lead the sons of Muspell into battle with the Norse gods – a battle which will end with Surtr’s flames engulfing the world.īut until that day, Surtr stands sentry against those who would dare invade the lands of his people, be they mortal or divine. It is said that when mighty Surtr moves from his post on the frontiers of Muspell, the heavens shall break apart, the earth shall burn and warriors will tread the path from Hel. Surtr is the very embodiment of the fire that will burn the old world to ash, so that a new one might rise in its place. But he knows the giant’s end.for it is the end of the gods, and of mankind, as well. Even Odin the All-Wise cannot see the spark that started Surtr’s fire. His origins are shrouded as by a haze of forge-smoke, his secrets mingled with the ashes of his fiery home.
#Fire speed stacks free
Considering there’s quite a few (read: a lot) of those, even later on, Asta is yet another great free unit that you won’t regret raising.Little is known of the fire-giant Surtr. E6 is significant because it drops the stacks you lose per turn down to only 2, meaning maintaining max Charge stacks against multiple foes very easy.Īsta is good at rounding out teams since her supportive capabilities are very generalised and quite good, though her prowess increases tremendously when facing fire-weak opponents and accompanying other fire damage dealers. E1 adds an extra hit to her skill, allowing for greater breaking capabilities. A4 is great, A6 is arguably a bit useless, but it’s free stats, I guess.Īsta’s eidolons are decent but not strictly necessary for performance. Considering you’re going to be mostly using basics on Asta to generate SP for your other damage dealers, this is a fantastic bonus ability to have, and contributes a significant amount of damage over the course of a fight.Ī4 gives a fire damage boost of 18% to all allies so long as Asta exists on the field, making her really great at supporting other fire characters especially, and A6 gives a def boost to Asta for each stack of Charging she has. A2 gives her basic attack an 80% base chance to afflict enemies with a 3 turn burn damage over time, the burn dealing 50% of her basic attack’s damage at the start of each turn. Traces are pretty straightforward for her. To offset this, Asta’s ultimate actually has a slightly higher than average energy cost, but it’s not fatal. Any kind of speed boost in any turn based game is basically guaranteed to be amazing, and Asta’s ultimate is no exception. It targets all allies and applies a 2 turn flat speed boost. Conversely, using it against a single target will not net you any extra stacks of Charging compared to using your basic attack, but it’ll deal considerably more damage, and will deal a hefty chunk of toughness damage to boot, so if you have the SP to spare, this is something you may consider using.Īsta’s ultimate is one that’s incredibly impressive.

The damage is underwhelming if it gets spread out, but you have the potential for many Charging stacks. It hits your first target guaranteed, and then the next 4 hits bounce randomly between the remaining enemies. Her skill also helps to facilitate this by being a multi-hit attack, 5 times in total. This is why Asta is really good at dealing with fire weak foes, especially if there’s more than one on the field. However, even a single stack is a pretty significant boost that’s permanently active, improved further if the one enemy has a fire weakness. She gains a bonus stack if the enemy she hits has a fire weakness.īecause of the steep drop in stacks that’ll essentially reset you to zero come Asta’s next turn, maintaining stacks beyond even just 1 becomes impossible if there’s only one enemy on the field. From her second turn onward, Asta loses 3 stacks of Charging at the start of her next turn. Each stack of charging increases all allies’ ATK by up to 14%. The lead researcher of the Herta Space Station is a fantastic addition to any team, better still if there’s a fire weak enemy on the field.Īsta’s talent is quite a unique buff for the party she gains a stack of Charging for every different enemy she hits, and it stacks up to 5x.
